Shinshu Soba no Kusabue Midori

Since I had time to get to the Shinkansen, I went to Shinshu Soba's grass flute at Ogoso Dining on the third floor of Nagano Station. The shop is very large, with a counter for one person, table seats for two or four people, and a seat for a parlor. There are many overseas customers, and the clerk is also global with some overseas customers. It is important soba noodles, but first, the amount is large. I was surprised. Soba is crunchy. Because it is crunchy and large in volume, your stomach will be a bun. Vegetable tempura was nice with many mushrooms.

I ordered the Kusuebutsu set for the lunch menu. The Kusabue set is a set of walnut soba, grated yam sauce and hahagi.Walnut soba is a soba that is eaten with a sauce containing walnut bean paste. Walnut bean paste is very sweet with walnuts and goes well with buckwheat noodles.And ohagi also has walnut flavor. Grained walnuts are mixed with kinako, and the sweetness of kinako and walnuts is very delicious. The quantity is limited, so if you can order it, why not try it? A lot of buckwheat noodles make it delicious and fill you up.

Noodles great texture. Menu in english was handy. Batter with tempura crispy but not too oily.

Great restaurant to taste soba noodles.The quantities compared to the other restaurants of the same category are abundant.Pretty quick service and spacious and pleasant rooms.In the restaurant window it is possible to watch the preparation of the pasta.

This is a Shinshu soba shop in the food area on the 3rd floor of Nagano Station.It was the most crowded soba restaurant in the same area. Soba here was super good. Enjoyed every dish. The standout was the pickled wasabi greens, something I'd never had before. Staff very helpful and patient as we attempted to navigate a foreign menu.

Since it was a long time in Shinshu, I thought about soba. As expected, it is Shinshu soba. I was able to feel the taste of soba with more waist. Excellent place. Wonderful food and value for money. Staff were excellent, always serving with a smile. A must go place if you happen to be at Nagano Station during lunch time

Definitely overrated.

As it is soba restaurant located on the 3rd floor of the station building MIDORI at Nagano Station, it is convenient because it can be used before taking a train. The basics are soba, but it seems that there is a set as well. Of course, there are liquor and beer, and a small snack to match it is also ready. Soba is quite large, so it seems like it should be good for two people with three people. Of course you can also have Soba hot water. Anyway, there are many, so please be careful. I think cospa is good. In addition to the table seats, there are also small seats that make it a great choice for small children.

Hand made soba. The servings are huge. I cannot finished my kitsune soba. The cold soba are nicer. Try the lunch set, it is only 1000yen for a cold soba with mixed vegetables tempura.

The authentic taste of Nagano soba is in Nagano Station. There are many seating options. The shop is on the 3rd floor. Delicious taste, great value. The key is to give a lot.

A bit expensive

English menu available. Great first stop off the Shinkanson from Kanazawa! They have a large window with a view of downtown Nagano. Excellent vegetarian options with large portions. We did not leave hungry! Bottomless green tea. Very friendly staff and very accommodating to dietary restrictions (they had a whole page of allergies you could point to so that you and the staff could communicate whether of not you could eat a dish). Reasonably priced (we spent about ¥2200 for two large bowls of soba noodles)

The soba: good. Sake selection: good. Value: not so good (went with Ebi Tenzarou Soba 1810 yen) which was underwhelming. English menu available. The overall experience was average with what appears to be a busy restaurant, single travellers are placed at a bar style seating facing each other. Unfortunately I had a glutton directly in front of me which was a huge turn off, but that’s just plain bad luck.

The food are good, since the soba is freshly made. the place also roomy, suitable for family dinner.
